About Rev Michael

Ordained as a Deacon in the Anglican Church of Australia, 22 February 2025.

Michael has been working in ministry since the end of 2019. Starting with masks outside to protect against smoke in the 2019 bushfires, moving into masks and separation indoors due to COVID-19 in the next year, very quickly there was a realisation that ministry has a need to be flexible at all times.

With eventually a firm call to parish ministry, I have been moving through my BTH.

Being in a diocese that is rather broad in terms of Anglicanism, I try to be balanced and not step on toes (of course, still a deacon). My genre of Anglicanism falls towards Anglo-Catholic on the scale.

Content

I imagine the content of this site to be a blend of reflections on ministry and theology as well as some edited talks or sermons. I will attempt to reference as best I can. The work in this blog is not to be considered academic in nature.

Subscribing

Ghost (the blog system this is hosted on) does manage subscribing to receive emails. In the late future, they may be a monetary ability to offer, particularly to cover the hosting costs/additional ministry and vestment supplies.
